No Shade was a Berlin-based DJ mentoring program and club night series active from 2016 to 2021. The project made a lasting impact on the local nightlife scene by introducing a broad roster of skilled female DJs and cultivating a strong DIY ethos centered on collaboration and collective action to create long-term change - an approach that has since grown into an ongoing movement and paved the way for numerous other collective initiatives in the nightlife scene.

Our work within the collective spanned day-to-day management across its various activities, as well as the development of a distinctive, eye-catching visual identity, further extended through the merchandise we designed and produced.
